Internet and Phone Services

INTERNET SERVICES: LymeFiber offers a choice of Internet speeds. Unlike cable modem or DSL service, LymeFiber Internet service is symmetrical – that means you can send files and videos at the same speed as you receive them! LymeFiber representatives will be happy to advise you as to the Internet service level most appropriate to your needs. You are not locked in to a particular service level, and we have no contracts. You may upgrade – or downgrade – at any time with a simple phone call or email to support@LymeFiber.net.

PHONE SERVICES: LymeFiber phone services are a comprehensive package of functions that include unlimited local and long distance calling plus several calling features.  Voicemail service is also available at no extra cost and it includes the option of receiving your voicemails as an attachment to your email. There is a one-time telephone activation fee of $30 per line.

TELEPHONE NUMBER PORTABILITY: Keeping your current telephone number(s) is not a problem. LymeFiber asks that you DO NOT discontinue your current telephone service. We will handle the disconnection of your old line while transferring the number to our service. Telephone user guides for residences and businesses will be sent via email once your lines have been transferred.

If you choose phone service, you will receive a Letter of Agency (LoA) form to be completed and returned to us – or you can download it here from our site.  Note that in order to move your existing phone number from your old provider to LymeFiber, your account with your old provider must be current and in good standing. Transferring the telephone number can take 10 days or more.

Installation and Activation Charges (one-time charges)

  • Residential Internet installation charge $99.00
  • Business Internet installation charge $150.00
  • Telephone activation fee $30.00
  • Adding telephone service after initial installation:
    • No additional wiring needed – $30
    • Wiring required – $105

Residential Service Levels (monthly charges)

  • Basic Internet: 25 Mbps $ 64.00
  • Standard Internet: 100 Mbps $ 96.00
  • Ultra Internet: 300 Mbps $ 126.00
  • Wicked Internet: 800 Mbps $156.00
  • Please note: There is also an additional $8 monthly charge for the Optical Network Terminal.
  • With some larger homes a mesh extender may be necessary, and — if supplied by LymeFiber — costs $7/month.
  • Residential phone lines with unlimited local and long-distance calling may be ordered at $25.00 plus applicable taxes per month per line. Click here for a list of included calling features.
  • Digital voicemail services are included in phone service cost. Voicemail features include voicemail to email feature, which allows you to listen to your voicemail from your email account when you are away from your home phone!

Business Service Levels (monthly charges)

  • Basic Internet: 30 Mbps: $82.00
  • Standard Internet: 100 Mbps $116.00
  • Ultra Internet: 300 Mbps $ 151.00
  • Wicked Internet: 800 Mbps $242.00

  • Static IP addresses: $7/month per address

For non-standard drops (more than 400 ft from the nearest public utility pole)

  • Drops over 400 feet from the nearest public utility pole will incur a charge of $1 per foot for additional footage.
  • For large or complex installations, we assess an additional installation charge of $75 per hour for any installation work in excess of two hours.

Subscriber Services

  • Custom on-premises technical support call: Labor @ $75/hour plus materials (minimum one hour charge – billed in half-hour increments thereafter).
